Faith Formation Across Generations

Bethany's ministries are designed to strengthen spiritual habits, deepen biblical understanding, and create meaningful relationships within the congregation and surrounding community.

Children & Families

Sunday learning opportunities, seasonal children's messages, family support, and Vacation Bible School style programming help young families participate fully in congregational life.

Youth Ministry

Youth gatherings focus on Christian friendship, Scripture discussion, service opportunities, and honest conversation about faith in everyday life.

Adult Study

Adults are invited into Bible study, catechetical review, prayer groups, and discussion evenings that connect the Christian faith to work, family, and community responsibility.

Program Highlights

How Ministry Takes Shape at Bethany

  • Sunday School and children's learning: age-appropriate Bible teaching with strong family connection.
  • Confirmation preparation: instruction in Scripture, catechism, prayer, and Lutheran doctrine.
  • Women's and men's fellowship: encouraging conversation, study, and practical support.
  • Senior care and visitation: regular contact, prayer, and presence for members who are homebound or in care settings.
  • Community outreach: meals, drives, seasonal support, and care for neighbours facing hardship.

Because rural ministry often depends on volunteers, many programs are relational and adaptable rather than heavily scheduled. That flexibility allows the congregation to respond well to changing seasons and real needs.

Seasonal Ministry

  • Advent devotions and midweek worship

Serving Beyond Our Walls

Ministry at Bethany includes visible care for the surrounding area. Members support neighbours through hospitality, transportation when possible, prayer chains, practical encouragement, and a willingness to step in during difficult seasons.
